May you never fail to celebrate your wonderful gift: Kassidy. After Seanna’s death I bought a small gold pinky ring set with her birthstone which I have not removed since to remind me that her birth was the birth of a great spiritual joy in my life, such that death could never undo. The depths of grief could not forever drown the soul’s memory of the lightness of loving and having been loved.
By all means remember. And celebrate. Close your eyes and revel in the memory of her touch. Her smell. If the hot tears fall, let them comfort.
My love to you and all who remember your beloved.
